The Luxury Travellist is a travel blog with a mission to revolutionize luxury travel and make it more accessible. They achieve this by unravelling some of the travel industry’s best kept secrets, sharing tricks for traveling smarter and tips for making sure you experience the best of every country.
The company wanted to expand their services as well as their reach within the luxury travel community. They felt that their existing website ran too slow and was holding them back. They also were not set up for SEO and therefore not prepared to compete with other travel sites.
We got rid of all of the clunky, unnecessary code on the existing site and started over using only code custom-written for the specific needs of the company. As with all of our websites, we also made the entire site SEO-ready with easy-to-use SEO tools. We then gave the staff of The Luxury Travellist a live video tutorial on how to use the SEO features as well as links to our blog where more tips can be learned as the company grows.
Google PageSite Speed testing reported a mobile score that went from 13 to 83. The desktop score went from 65 to 97 making both mobile and desktop significantly faster. SEO scores also improved and, by employing the newly learned tactics, the company is enjoying higher traffic and ranking on Google.
